START & STOP vehicle battery has been adopted by more modern car models. The technology – responsible for switching off the engine when the car stops in traffic or at traffic lights – ushered in some new needs. Among them, special starter motors, alternators, and batteries.
Fort Light EFB batteries are the evolution of traditional batteries. They work with a partial state of charge, which traditional batteries cannot support.

Founded in 2004, Kania Baterias, based in the city of Rafard/SP, began its manufacturing activity by producing and selling car batteries for the aftermarket. Our batteries are currently sold under the Kondor, Fort Light and Dutra brands.
